Amanuensis to the Apostle - Paul's "right hand" man - that was Tertius. What would that have been like? Can you even imagine! I suspect Tertius' wrist was sore and his heart was full after taking dictation from Paul for several hours. Was he a believer? Was he a good friend of Paul's from Corinth (where the letter was likely written) or was he simply a hired scribe? Whatever the case, how cool would it have been to hear the passion in Paul's own voice as he paced while his heart and mind raced, flooded with the mighty thoughts of God that are recorded in Romans! Wow.
